All About Flash: Flash Fiction 101 Workshop
with Lisa Heidle
Sunday, April 11, 2021
12 to 2pm Pacific Time
Join Lisa Heidle, author, editor, and flash fiction writer, in this 2-hour Flash Fiction Workshop for all levels.
Lisa will introduce you to the Flash Fiction (1,000 words or less) form in all it’s minimalist glory. Through inspiring Flash Fiction stories and writing prompts, you will learn how to use sense imagery, a strong title, and compelling first lines to create strong Flash Fiction stories. With a focus on brevity, you will learn how to edit down your word count without losing the core of your story. When you leave this workshop, you will have a list of Flash Fiction publication sites and the knowledge you need to submit your work with confidence.
If you are wanting to build your writing portfolio, creating and publishing Flash Fiction is a great way to strengthen your writing and editing skills and start creating an online writing presence.
